Father’s Day 2024, 2025 and 2026
Father’s Day came to Singapore from the West and is celebrated on the same date as in the US and UK – the third Sunday in June. It is not a public holiday but it is widely observed across the city-state.

Given the great importance of the family here, Father’s Day has been successfully incorporated into the annual rhythm of celebrations by Singaporeans.
Singapore is full of special events and creative opportunities to have a special day together as a family. Many hike on Singapore’s many beautiful walking trails, while others go on a family picnic or enjoy a festive meal together either at home or at coffee shops and restaurants.
It is common to give a card, sweets and other gifts to fathers on Father’s Day. Of course, the most important thing is not the gift but the act of wishing “Happy Father’s Day” however one chooses to do so.
